“Popped in after a walk by the sea, big variety on the menu, large portions, burger was really juicy and good quality meat, the fish was the best I’ve had, fresh, white and fell apart, chips were also unreal (fries and chunky cooked chips). Great location, clean, pretty and modern inside. Nice friendly staff, will 100 percent be back again! Also dog friendly - ruby approves ”

“We ate at Allards on the quay last night with family & there was a slightly longer than usual wait but the waitress who served us (Michelle) was absolutely brilliant. She was calm the whole time even though it was busy & she really looked after us. There was another lady called Clare who also helped look after our table & I couldn't fault either of them. Michelle was fantastic & she made such a difference. Thank you for a beautiful meal & gorgeous service!”

“I came last week (27/3/25) and had lunch with a friend, brilliant service and the lunch portion was very substantial. I came with another friend this week (4/4/25) and wanted to have some breakfast since I was keen to try it since I saw it on the menu however when Allards did open the doors I was disappointed to find that breakfast isn’t served at the fish quay premises because of the lack of foot fall (I get it, I work in hospitality). If breakfast isn’t an option why is it being advertised on the menu outside the door? It won’t deter me from coming back but it’s just a shame that’s all.”

“We held part of our wedding reception upstairs. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and that everyone had a good time. The manager was really friendly and made organising the afternoon simple. The canapes were very tasty and went down well. The cocktails were lovely. The room is nicely decorated and they created a really nice atmosphere for our special day.”

“I’ve only been at lunchtime, easy to get a table without booking. My only disappointment is that 3 from 4 visits there was no lamb options as it was still cooking, presumably for the evening service. However, there are still plenty choices on the menu. Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly.”
